We are happy to announce we have released our Google marketplace app.

The app targets two different groups, with different set of features for each one acording to their needs. One of this groups is Google domain administrators. The app provides unique set of features for users managing their domain with Google apps, providing a seamingless workflow plugging itself perfectly in your current Google environment.

The second set of users is Google Chrome users that are not managing a domain but using Google apps (such as gmail,google drive and google chrome) as a standalone user and want to start their discussions with friends, colleagues or any other groups.

Google managed Domains

This app allows domain administrators to install the app on their domain giving access to a set of features specially built for users that are using Google apps for their businesses. Every user in the domain will be automatically elegible to use discuto and start their own discussions easily or be invited by a collegue to a discussion.

The app provides the following features when isntalled on a domain :

Automatic accounts for domain users

Users that belong to a domain that has the discuto Google app installed will not be required to create an account and be able to automatically login from within the "Google Universal navigation" or just using the Google sign-in button in discuto login page. The authentication process will be automatic and provide a way create a discussion withing a minute.

Google Drive Integration

The Discuto Google app creates a button inside the Google drive UI itself that enables the user with the power to start a discussion right within the Google Drive, just right clicking on the document that he intends to upload and clicking "Open with discuto". The creates a way for domain users to start a discussion from a document in less than 30 seconds without ever having to register, validate accounts, download or upoad a document to or from their computer. Everything happens within the cloud and with one click.

Invite domain users ,teams, groups

With the Discuto Google app domain users can invite team members, domain groups that have been previously created in the Google domain administration providing with an easy way to get a discussion started with the right public, being the Marketing staff, Development tem, support or any other group of users.

Google Chrome users

For users that dont manage their domains in Google but still use Google apps such as the Google Drive the app also provides with a way to plug itself into their environment as a Google Drive app. The app provides the following features when installed in Google Chrome : 

Google Drive Integration

The Discuto Chrome app will create a button inside the Google drive UI much like for domain apps, that enables the user with the power to start a discussion right within the Google Drive, just right clicking on the document that he intends to upload and clicking "Open with discuto". The app will ask for authorization to access the user's drive information and only after consent is given by the user will the app continue and create the discussion also creating an account for the user in case he has not created one previously.
